With this latest deal, all Doctor Who fans can now have the perfect way of catching up with several of the past seasons of the renowned sci-fi series from BBC. Disney XD has earned the rights to broadcast Seasons 2 to 4 that started with a special on the 9th of May 2015.
According to Matt Forde, the BBC Worldwide North America EVP, Disney XD has been well acclaimed for its remarkable programming that is certified family-friendly and this is what makes the channel the best partner to introduce the Doctor Who’s seasons that feature David Tennant to the new generation of viewers.
Aficionados are going to recognize Tennant to be the 10th Doctor in this series which ran in Britain starting in 1963 through 1989 before it was re-launched in the year 2005. Its broadcast on May 9 offered the first season’s episode wherein he was featured. This will pick up again on the 13th of June, with 8 episodes to roll out until June 20. Subscribers who have the Disney XD app can start watching the shows on their digital and mobile devices starting June 14.
